Day 1 in San Francisco
San Ramon Valley. Get to know another Valley with brunch at Father Nature’s and shopping at Pelican Rock and Flaunt. Don’t forget to pick up some treats from Danville Chocolates for the folks back home.
Fisherman’s Wharf. Ride the trolley to the most famous pier in San Francisco and explore Union Square. Start the drinking games at Lou’s Fish Shack, then move your cocktail sipping to Farmer Browns. If you're not much of a drinker, you can check out some of these 'sober travel destinations'!
Alameda. End the day with dinner at a great Vietnamese restaurant. Order the takeout version and enjoy al fresco dining at home.
Financial District. Corporations headquartered in San Francisco have the best view of the bay. Head to the edge of the district to the Ferry Building where you’ll find a farmer’s market and good eats at The Waterfront Cafe.Follow up with a stiff drink at Perry’s and a ferry ride.
Mission District and The Castro. For a night on the town, start at one of the best rooftop bars in the city El Techo de Lolinda. Dance the night away at Badlands in the Gayborhood next door, The Castro. Finish the night with a midnight snack at Nizario’s Pizza.
Your Final Day in The Bay
West Oakland. Start your last morning in San Francisco with brunch at Oprah’s favorite spot in West Oakland. Brown Sugar Kitchen cafe serves up tasty waffles made with cornmeal and served with cider syrup.
Crissy Field. End your trip with an iconic image– The Golden Gate Bridge. Crissy Field is a nearby park with great views of the architectural wonder. If you have time stop by for a picnic on the Main Lawn.
