There was something always pulling at my heartstring; this feeling of lack or maybe a feeling of fighting a delusion? Not sure. What I was sure of was that I needed to follow my Heart. My other option would be to stay in a work environment and city that offered me nothing past my obligation to pay bills on time and live solely on the weekends and two to three weeks vacation a year.
As 2015 is quickly coming to a close, I took some time to reflect on the wisdom and insights I have gained since making a huge shift in my life.
After silently battling with anxiety disorder and depression and fighting between the notion of a consistent, comfortable lifestyle versus living in Purpose, I submitted a five sentence Two Week Notice to my corporate job and embarked on a journey that dramatically changes my life forever. That was in the summer of 2014.
I left a promising and lucrative career. Sold all my stuff. And traveled to heal over the next three months in South East Asia. I had no real idea of what I was going to do, how I was going to make, how my life would impact and inspire others, but I did it.
Over a year and a half later, I have developed an incredible spiritual relationship with the Most High, am a successful entrepreneur, still traveling the world, found Love within myself, and am impacting the lives of others. All of these things, I am sure, I could not have found, obtained, and fully embraced, in such a short amount of time had it not been for escaping my comfort zone and living for my God-given Purpose.
Here are 10 Things I Have Learned About Escaping My Comfort Zone & Living Life in Purpose:
+Ā Having a relationship with the Most High is essential to any stretching, growth, and ascension.
+ It is okay to choose yourself! No one will judge you for it.
+ Speaking of being ājudgedā who cares? Once you are 100000% comfortable with who you are and who you are designed to be, othersā opinions will not matter – at all.
+ Happiness is not a destination. It is a state you seek, decide on, choose, and work towards every single minute and moment.
+Ā Learning when to say āNoā will save your sanity, time, and money
+ Creating goals, objectives, and creating visions, for every aspect of your life will produce results you would have never imagined!
+ Stop being so damn hard on yourself! There are no such things as losses or fails. You win some, and you learn some very value lessons.
+ Collecting experiences and memories is much more valuable than the collection of material items.
+ You are valuable. You have something inside of you that no one else can create, execute, and complete quite like you can.
* Bonus: Your mind and thoughts are incredibly powerful. Speak life, love, abundance, Ā motivation, and anything else positive into your life every.single.day.
Your turn!
What are some things you have learned about yourself within the last year?
Journey on.

Nice post, thank you for sharing
I’ve learned to not b so hard on myself. I’m very critical of stuff I do at times. I read something that said to treat yourself and speak to yourself like you would your own child. That resonated with me so much.
Wow! That resonates with me greatly too!I definitely had to learn to treat myself better!
Feeling every word of it!
So glad you feel me!
This got my morning off to a great start. Thanks, Rachel
No problem Ashlea!
